1) Pre-clinical data: A flow model was tested showing proof of concept that external vibration applied across an attenuating medium assist recanulization of a thrombosed, stenosed flow system held at arterial like pressure, has been succesfully completed with results published in the Journal of Thrombosis and Thrombolysis. 2) Phase 1 clinical data: Chest wall diastolic timed low frequency vibration (50 Hz, 2 mm) to the chest wall has been scientifically proven to improve coronary blood flow in narrowed and normal coronary arteries in human volunteers. 3) Low frequency vibration enhances thromboltyic drug action in clot lysis in a test tube model. Phase 2 and Phase 3 clinical trials required, to show that chest wall vibration assists prehopsital or inhospital thrombolysis in treatment of heart attack. Clinical data is also required to confirm chest wall vibration assists coronary angiogenesis.
