What state laws do not apply to charter schools?
Indiana charter schools are exempt from Indiana laws that are not specifically listed as applicable to charter schools. Charter schools are also exempt from rules or guidelines adopted by the Indiana state board of education, rules or guidelines adopted by the professional standards board, except for rules regarding gaining or renewing a teacher’s license, and regulations or policies adopted by a school corporation.
