I can’t say for sure who employs the most, or who employs the most operating in the capacity as chemical engineers. Lots of chemical engineers get jobs that ultimately aren’t chemical engineering jobs. However, New Jersey would hire a disproportionate amount, at least on the east coast, because of the large number of chemical and pharmaceutical production operations there.
