What standardized test does RPCS administer?
Standardized tests are administered annually at Resurrection. Like all other diocesan schools, RPCS uses the Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS), given to students in grades 3-8 in the fall and grade 2 in the spring to gauge their achievement levels in mathematics, language arts, and reading. Results are placed in cumulative folders and copies provided to parents. Test results are evaluated by the principal, guidance counselor, and faculty to determine student needs. The class of 2009 produced some of the highest ITBS scores seen by RPCS over the past five years, with a particularly strong affinity for Reading.
