What stage is the NGT scheme currently at?
The NGT scheme has now been given ‘Programme Entry Approval’ by the Department for Transport. To access the funding, the Promoters will need to gain Conditional Approval and Full Approval. The key project milestones and forecasted dates for delivery seen below were based on a Transport and Works Act Order (TWAO) application being submitted in Autumn 2010. Given the Government’s current Spending Review, the TWAO application will not now be submitted in Autumn 2010. The dates will be reviewed following the outcome of the Spending Review.
