What stage is the build at?
She is being built at Monfalcone shipyard by shipbuilders Fincantieri. This is just outside of Trieste in Italy. The design and development process has been going on for almost 2 years, and the first piece of steel was laid on 27th October 2008. Her bow will very shortly be fitted along with the first of her passenger cabins. Her float out ceremony is likely to be in June although an official date has not been set. The float out is when the dry dock is filled with water for the very first time. It is likely she will go out on sea trials in November/December.
