What speed improvements can I expect using the InfoSat system?

0

Using the InfoSat system you will be able to receive data at a minimum of 64kbit/s. this is the equivalent of a 64k Diginet leased line. Although you do have the option of purchasing more incoming bandwidth at an additional cost you will not receive data at less than 64kbit/s. The InfoSat receiver card currently has a maximum receive capability of 48Mbit/s. Yes, we’re talking Megabits now not Kilobits any more. This is the equivalent of 6MB per second. Thus at maximum capability you should be able to receive a 20MB file in just over 3 seconds.
