What speed are the network drops on campus?

All network drops on campus are switched ethernet. The majority of them are 10/100Mb/s capable but some are only 10Mb/s capable. Switched 10Mb/s is suitable for playing streaming videos etc. for a lecture. If you really need to know whether it is 100Mb/s capable please email network@uregina.ca and indicate that you would like to know the speed of a network drop in a particular room.
