WHAT SPECIAL TOOLS ARE REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION?

No special tools are required to work with Millennium Lumber. Virtually any tool you use with wood can be used on our lumber, however, carbide blades are recommended for the best performance. 4. CAN MILLENNIUM LUMBER BE NAILED OR DO YOU HAVE TO USE SCREWS? Millennium Lumber should be installed with a high quality screw or nail, such as stainless steel or a hot dipped galvanized, to take full advantage of its longevity. As with wood, spiral or ring-shank nails provide better holding than common nails. There is no pre-drilling required to use either nails or screws, not even at the end of the lumber. We have found that if you make a countersink for the head you get a much nicer finish. Nail guns also work very well.
