The Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) supports the academic success and overall adjustment to campus life of students of color. In addition, through direct service to students and by promoting a welcoming campus environment, the OMA works to improve the recruitment, retention and graduation rates of students of color. The office provides tutors, mentors, social activities and support services to students and awards a limited number of grants and scholarships. The OMA serves as a one-stop resource center for students of color. It provides general assistance and referrals on financial aid matters, academic issues, including class selection, tuition payment options and career and job preparation.
