What special resources are there for international students?
The international student advisors, Dr. Julia Karolle-Berg jkarolle@jcu.edu and Dr. Susan Long long@jcu.edu are responsible for university students who are in the United States on an F-1 visa or a J-1 visa. They help those students acculturate quickly and comfortably and are seen about any concern with Immigration and Naturalization Service. International students have been a part of the University community of John Carroll for many years. The education of students from all parts of the world has been an important part of the international education that the Jesuit character of the university promotes. International Students on F-1 and J-1 visas come from more than a dozen countries including Syria, Croatia, China, Russia, Belize, Ireland, Canada, Norway, Spain, Thailand, Slovenia, Ukraine, and Japan.
