What special or unique markings are on the HK P7M8 Jubilee slide?
In terms of markings, the HK P7M8 Jubilee slide is distinct from contemporary HK P7M8s in the following ways: • The top-left radiused edge has the designer’s name (Helmut Weldle) and “1 von 500” (German, and including the double quotes; it translates to “1 in 500” in English) etched onto its surface • The left-side markings are engraved, like very early (early 1980s) P7 PSPs, not roll-stamped • The right side does not include the warning that is found on standard HK P7M8s since the year 2000 or so (instead, a comparable warning is on the frame, under the trigger guard) The following photos illustrate the markings on the slide: For the Jubilees within the last range of fifty, specifically those bearing serial numbers 16-150451 through 16-150500, if they were imported into the US, they bear an “HKI-Trussville AL” importer marking, instead of the original “HK Inc.
