What special events and trips are offered?
Exciting special events and evening activities round out the program. Evening activities include sports leagues, campfires, and special events such as Carnival, bowling, movies and lake excursions. Sunday at Winaukee is special event day. The Mainland camp is divided into four teams, and campers spend the day engaged in friendly competition before ending the day with a campfire, skits, fun and games! Off campus trips are memorable summer highlights. Each age group is scheduled for age-appropriate out-of-camp excursions, which may include canoe and sailing trips on the lake; hiking adventures throughout the White Mountains; tours of Boston and Cape Cod; and exploration of the Maine coast, Arcadia National Park and Kennebunkport. Island campers enjoy a five day trip to Montreal and Quebec and have the option to take extended golf trips.
