What sources of interference can occur?
The only usual source of interference with wireless internet is called rain fade and it can occur during periods of heavy rain. This interference is similar to the rain fade which can affect satellite tv reception. Since lightning most often occurs during rain fade episodes, we suggest you turn off your computer anyway as a precaution against nearby lightning strikes which can damage any computer system.
