What sources are there for determining the quality of retirement homes?
I used to have a file with all of this information, from my research for my father in law. Unfortunately, I think it went out with a large cleanup last year. I was able to pull this info from my calendar from a few years ago. The primary federal level government agency would be the US Government Department of Health and Human Services. You don’t mention what state you are in on your profile, but most the department of Health and Human Services or Department of Social Services should be a resource also. A subgroup of this is the Administration on Aging which provides advocacy services for the elderly in this country.
