What source materials are used in Faswall® Wall forms?

0

Faswall® wall forms can use any clean waste wood that is locally available (e.g., recycled hardwood pallets). The main ingredient is wood (approximately 85%), with cement making up the remaining 15%.

I have no problems with Faswall or Durisol and have used both. I have had a few clients in the past concerned about the Faswall source material since it does include hardwood pallets. It is difficult to verify the chain of custody of such pallets to ensure they have not have been used to carry materials hazardous or chemically sensitive to the client. Visual checks are not sufficient. In these cases, we decided to use Durisol (they use clean sofwood waste from truss manufacturers).
