What sorts of study spaces will the Pew Library contain?
As a general rule, the space around the book shelves in the east wing of the building will be furnished for quiet study, while space on the west side of the building will be furnished to accomodate interactive group work. There will also be group study rooms, quiet reading rooms, and transition areas where group and quiet pursuits can intermingle. In a nod to the much-loved window seats in Zumberge Library, there will be window seats on the east side of the new building and upholstered nooks in the reading rooms.
