What sorts of jobs are available to someone with a degree in History? What about English?
You will find that most employers know that the benefits of higher education include the tendency for postsecondary students to provide greater workplace productivity, increased consumption, increased workforce flexibility, they are more open-minded, more cultured, more rational, more consistent and less authoritarian. The actual subject of the degree is not of primary concern. A Degree in History or English, or even Ancient Civilizations is a plus.
