Please Note: The chef has provisioned the yacht for you and the number of guests in your charter party. Therefore, if you meet someone in the anchorage and wish to invite them aboard, if merely for a cocktail or to show off the yacht you’ve chartered, politeness and the rules of the sea dictate that you ask the Captain’s permission (Nautical Protocol: One always asks the Captain’s permission to come aboard at the start of the charter, after that you and your party are the guests. Strangers should ask permission from the captain to come aboard).
