What sorts of appearances do Chiefs players make?
The most common settings for player appearances are schools, charitable organizations or non-profit events and the occasional business function, Players do especially well in direct interaction with children, young people’s groups, or with the elderly. Career days are not acceptable since so few people have realistic opportunities to become NFL players. In making plans for a Chiefs player appearance, keep in mind the role you would like him to play at the event (motivational speech, read a book, visit with a group of children.) For best results, be sure to have the maximum number of people available for the appearance and, please, don’t ask the player to participate in any athletic pursuits that might result in his injury.
