What sort of wounds can be treated?
CellSpray can be used to treat wounds that require the replacement of epithelial tissue. This includes burns, trauma resulting in skin loss and the surgical revision of scars. CellSpray has been used to treat massive burns (both in terms of body surface area and depth) and can be used in conjunction with dermal replacement technologies, such as Integra®. CellSpray has also been used in small injuries to replace site specific epithelium, such as glabrous tissue. Wounds must not have a pre-existing infection or uncontrolled necrosis.
