What sort of training is required of foster families?
All families providing basic foster care will be required to have Infant/Child CPR and First Aid and updated as required. Additionally, families providing basic care are required to have twenty hours of training annually to include such things as SIDS/Shaken Baby, behavior management, parenting physically and sexually abused children and other topics that relate to the population of children in your home.
