What sort of things have YiPpEe done?
Some of the recent projects that YiPpEe have been involved in are: • creating an information booklet for children and young people in hospital called Young Voices. The booklet includes personal stories of patients, information about the hospital and staff, games, jokes, children’s rights and a page for siblings • reviewing food quality and developing menus • discussing the importance of privacy and dignity for children and young people. See the poster • making children’s rights clearer and more obvious to adults and young people. This has included designing a Children’s Rights Poster • developing methods to hear and respond to children and young people’s thoughts • taking part in the National Takeover Day, where children and young people across the country take over organisations and companies.
