(A:) When you install 3rd party software, it will usually ask you “Install to default location”. Answer NO, and if the app is well-written, it will give you the option to install to a flash card. You can’t (yet) move your core databases into the CF card (contacts, etc.). For more on CF cards, check out this column by Todd Ogasawara.
