What sort of paint should i use on bedroom walls, kitchen, living room and bathroom walls?
First of all, you’ll need to use an oil-based primer if the paint on the walls now is oil paint. If you want to paint latex (read easy clean up with soap and water), you can paint this on top of oil-based primer. I think latex paint is the best thing since sliced bread… so I vote for latex paint. In all the rooms. Though there are some things you might want to consider: Use a paint finish that can be easily washed in children’s room. Don’t use a flat paint in these rooms. Use a flat paint in the living room and the master bedroom.. you can even use ceiling paint on the walls in this room. It’s less expensive and really does mimic suede paint. Just make sure it’s not on walls in a room that you’ll need to be washing the walls. Kitchen & bath: WASH THE WALLS FIRST!!! You won’t regret it. And use kitchen & bathroom paint in these two rooms.
