Predominantly, Summer School presents Western Classical music, from Josquin de Pres (or before) to Harrison Birtwistle (and after). The Summer School also runs courses in Jazz, Rock, Tango, Salsa, Klezmer. At one point or another, just about every other possible sort of music has been to Dartington.
