For some reason alot of people think Britain was made up of pansy nazi sympathising defeatists, but it wasn’t. No matter who the prime minister was Britain would have fought on untill the end.

Hitler said that he admired the British Empire (mainly for racist reasons) and that if Britain gave them a free hand in europe they would allow them a free hand in their Empire. All very well at the time but he wasn`t to be trusted, as his mental health deteriorated no one knew what he would do next.
