Well after he sang Bryan Adams “Heaven” in Hollywood week, he sang “Shop Around” by The Miracles. This was in the top 24 where the theme was 1960. The next week, the theme was 1970. He sang “Imagine” by John Lennon. After he sang “Another Day in Paradise” for the 1980’s week by Phil Collins. Then it was the Lennon/McCartney week where he sang “We can work it out” by the Beatles. When it was the top 11, he sang “The Long and Winding Road” again by the Beatles. When it got to the top 10, they had to sing songs that were in the year that they were born in. He sang “You’re the voice” by John Farnham. In the top 9, it was Dolly Parton week, and he sang “Smoky Mountain Memories” by Dolly Parton. Since Idol gives back played, the top 8 had to sing inspirational music. He sang “Angels” by Robbie Williams. Then he sang “When you believe” for Mariah Carey week.
