What Softwares are Used for 3D Laser Scanning and what are their Functions?
Surveyor Scan Control (SSC), Laser Design’s proprietary software which comes with all the Laser Design scanning systems, has two primary functions: 1. To move the machine in 3D space in order to physically adjust the laser probe over the object that is being scanned. SSC set up the scan so that the laser probe follows a pre-defined path in 3D space while scanning the part. The setup programming is entirely “graphical” and no code needs to be written.
