What software will be provided for analyzing Keck Interferometer data?

0

Standard software for reducing data to calibrated visibilities will be provided by the Interferometry Science Center. In addition to calibrated visibilities, the raw visibilities including the raw visibilities of the calibration stars will be provided to the user. The parameter in all visibility science is actually the square of the fringe visibility. Raw visibilities means that the gross effects, caused by imperfections in the detector have been removed. Many effects can reduce the observed visibility and these are removed in the calibrated visibility by using a set of “unresolved” calibrator stars.
