The software is an augmented version of GRAMS 32 by Galactic Corp. in the USA, running on a laptop computer. The communication to the instrument is via a PCMCIA card. There are many add-on options for the GRAMS 32 software that can be bought from Galactic Corp., including neural net algorithms, principle component analysis and other ‘trainable’ analysis methods.
