On all laptops prior to 2006, IBM Record Now will do this. Click Start, Programs, IBM Record Now, Record Now. For Lenovo laptops bought after 2006, you need to start the Multimedia Center. Click on Start, Programs, Multimedia Center, Record Now Data. Dell laptops use Roxio software for CD/DVD creation. Toshiba tablet laptops use proprietary Toshiba Disc Creator software.
