What software can record Windows Media audio streams into MP3?

Please recommend software, preferably Open Source, that can record live audio streams from radio stations through Windows Media Player. I’ve tried several from search through Google for these keywords and three I’ve tried so far do not record it. What I need is t to be able to record directly to a MP3 format.
