What skills do children need to be ready for Kindergarten?
Children need to have developed an interest in the environment around them. They should be able to work independently for 5-10 minutes to complete a task, they should be able to listen to a story, play cooperatively, write their name, know their alphabet and numbers (through 10), color, cut, glue, and how to hold a pencil.
