What skills and qualifications does Sarah Palin bring to the role of Vice President?
Sarah Plain doesn’t have much in the way of practical skills or experience. She had a stint as mayor of Wasalia, but it turns out that that position didn’t have many duties. The city doesn’t collect taxes, deal with utilities or emergency services, run the schools, etc. Those services are all handled at the state and county level. She has been governor of Alaska for two years, which definitely counts as experience. However, the government of Alaska only operates a few months out of each year, and the stories that have emerged about how she handled herself have not been overwhelmingly positive. For example, the attempt to fire her ex-brother-in-law, billing tax payers for 312 nights spent at her home, selling the jet at a loss, supporting and then not supporting the bridge to nowhere, etc. Even though she has little experience, she does bring some things to McCain’s presidential ticket.
