What sizes of lockers are available?
Lockers come in many different sizes. All width and depth measurements are based on 3″ increments – 12″, 15″ 18″, 21″. 12″ is the most common width, while 15″ and 18″ are common depth choices. 18″ is deep enough to hang a standard coat hanger in the locker, if that’s a concern for you. Locker heights are 60″ (5 feet) and 72″ (6 feet) tall, plus 6″ legs. We don’t count the legs as part of the locker height as they don’t add to the usable interior volume of the locker opening. Increase locker size by depth before increasing by width. The cost difference between a 12″, 15″ and 18″ deep locker is minimal. The cost difference between a 12″, 15″ and 18″ wide locker is substantial. Increasing by depth also gets you more usable locker volume without using more wall space.
