What size soft box should I use for commercial and portrait photography?
The size of the soft box will vary with the size of the subject. Many photographers use a 36 X 36 or 36 X 48 for most tabletop applications. For larger subjects, you can place multiple soft boxes side by side or end to end. A 24 X 36 or 36 X 36 soft box is ideal for head and shoulder portraits.
