What size sign can be placed on the front, side, rear of a business?
• Generally, each tenant in a commercial or retail location is permitted 60 square feet of signage on the exterior wall of the building. This area can be contained in one sign or in up to 3 signs per tenant. If the frontage of the building exceeds 60 feet, 1 square foot of signage is allowed for each linear foot of frontage. • 30 square feet of tenant signage is allowed on the side of buildings that face a street or parking lot.
