What size pilot/s best fit the Aerolite?
With the empty weight requirements imposed on ultralight aircraft. The airframe size is usually restricted in size to keep weight low, and is designed around the military s standard pilot size and weight of 170lbs. The Aerolite will comfortably fit those from 5 3 to 6 and weighing from 120-220 lb. There are however several larger owners /pilots of the Aerolite, that respond that there is plenty of performance/power to fly them, all though it is probably a tight fit, and may have required some slight modification to allow them to fit more comfortably. This usually will require the larger fiberglass seat and fuel tank combination, and moving the rudder pedals forward for more leg room.
