Less is more! You have a boat that is not designed to go fast in a place that is not best for going fast. Go for a four stroke of between 6 and 10hp – you have no tides or currents to fight and this will be nice and frugal. For trolling consider an electric motor – if the main engine has a charging capacity this will be a nice combination.
