Well that would put you at about a hundred pounds and fight gloves for that division are usually eight ounces. That does not mean you should get eight ounce gloves though. If you are going to use these for bag work and sparring then I would go with a twelve ounce glove. Fighters normally work out with a heavier glove because it offers more padding and helps keep training injuries down as well as affords more protection for them and their sparring partners. This also makes your hands quicker when you actually fight since you have been working out with a heavier glove than what you fight with. A twelve ounce glove would give you a little leeway while you grow also. At my school we use a sixteen ounce glove for people over 150 lbs when sparring and training and those under use a 12 ounce glove.
