What size beading needles?
Every now and again the question comes along……how do I know what size a beading needle is? They are sized similar to seed beads. The higher the number the smaller the needle. Seed beads work in the same manner, higher the number, the smaller the bead. So next time you have some needles in your jewellery box and not sure what size it is, at least you now know that the smaller the needle it is a high number. Many beaders try and match up the needle number with the bead number. This is not critical but can be a good starting point. Also don’t worry about your needles getting bent. This happens all the time and the plus is that it can be good for getting round tricky corners !! If you have any needle comments to make, please let us hear your comments.
