What size Allen key for Ovation LX guitar?
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ADJUST THE TRUSS ROD! Unless you are experienced in doing these types of adjustments! I see a lot of young people on here talking about adjusting the truss rod to change the action on the guitar. This is NOT how you adjust the action!. The truss rod is for setting the relief on the neck. It should only be done by a qualified technician! I have worked in music stores for decades and I am a qualified technician. You would not believe the amount of horror stories I have seen come into the store by people who had absolutely no idea what the truss rod is or how it actually functions! I have seen some very expensive guitars RUINED be cause some idiot started turning the truss rod until he noticed a big change in the neck! This usually ends up with a broken rod or the rod nut which totally wrecks the guitar! To correctly adjust the truss rod you must first understand and know what the “relief” for a guitar neck is. The truss rod should NEVER be turned more than 1/4 of a turn
