If your child support is received through the state then there are links within your state’s Attorney General office that can provide you with good information on child support.
If the child support is court ordered but garnished through the other parent’s employment you can likely contact the HR department to find out where they are depositing the funds and how you can go about finding information on the deposits.
I have recently discovered that even if the Attorney General and the courts order specific payments for child support that you may not get that much money. The payer has to be able to survive as well and complete pay checks are not garnished in order to fulfill an order.
