What Simulation Network Protocols Does it Support (DIS, HLA)?

S2Focus™ supports the High Level Architecture (HLA) RTI version 1.3 specification. Support is provided for the DMSO RTI 1.3NG (versions 4, 5, and 6) and any binary compatible API specification (like RTI NG Pro ). S2Focus™ also supports the Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) standard (IEEE 1278) versions 4, 5, and 6. The application also includes, at no additional cost, a messaged based (connectionless) RTI 1.3NG implementation developed by General Dynamics called HLADirect™. This message specification is open and our implementation does not require the purchase of a separate RTI implementation that requires a central RTI executive or federation process. S2Focus™ also provides the capability for users to develop or implement their own protocol interface (via a DLL) that can be plugged into the framework. Any protocol can be supported as long as the protocol data can be specified in terms of objects with attributes and interactions with parameters.
