Answer Not many, since Socrates, as Plato represents him, is an idealist who thinks knowledge is the grasp of perfect, timeless Forms, whereas Aquinas is an Aristotelian who tends to follow his teacher thinking that knowledge is abstraction from the experience of particular, actual things. Both, however, believe that the human mind is the key to understanding the world as well as we can.
