Back in 1995, on the 19th of April, the city of Oklahoma hosted one of the most devastating terrorist assault recorded in the history of the United States. A truck filled with highly explosive material was blown up in front of a federal building in the city. The incident claimed lives of 168 citizens which were there at the time of the blast. Timothy McVeigh was accused of the bombing. He got sentenced with murder charges and was put to death on the 11th of June 2001. Terry Nicholas was also found guilty of working together with McVeigh. He is now facing a life sentence. Today a lot of people are expected to arrive at the Oklahoma City’s First Christian Church for the 15th anniversary of the Alfred P. Murrah federal building bombing to give honor to the victims of the blast.
