iPhone 3.0 firmware compatilbility has been added. iPod-to-iTunes transfer is now a direct 1-step process. Playlists can now be easily recovered without having to worry about how iTunes is managing/moving the transferred tracks. An advanced preferences menu has been created allowing users to customize how and where tracks will be transferred. Other new options include enabling disk-mode hijacking and managing music without iTunes track detection. A bug preventing ratings and play counts from copying properly has been resolved. A bug preventing tracks with special characters has been resolved. Automatic transfer has been revised. It now transfers all tracks and playlists on an iPod into iTunes with one click. Finally, due to the overwhelming amount of time required to maintain this program and keep up with the changes Apple has been making to it’s iPod databases, Pod to PC is now shareware.
