WHAT SHOULD WE DO WITH A DRUG ADDICTED PERSON?
I was once addicted to drugs. My personal experience is not to give up on that person. Of course at the same time, you cannot let them get away with everything. When someone is addicted they need all kinds of positive support. It helps to do things with them, to get them away from the bad parts in their world. I stopped using drugs by myself(and the help of my friends and family). I didn’t go to rehap. Yes it was hard, but once I started staying away from the people and places that I did drugs, it got easier for me. Just because a person does drugs(or is addicted)does not make them a bad person and they should never be thrown away. Always have an open mind and heart when helping an addict, but also be aware. An addict will be very sneaky and they usually don’t care who they hurt to get what they want. Good luck to you!
