What should we do if the strategy in which we’re interested doesn’t effectively deal with all of our community’s priority risk and protective factors?
No one strategy is likely to effectively address all of a community’s priority substance abuse issues or risk and protective factors. Carefully review Appendices C and D of the “Guidance Document for Science-Based and Promising Substance Abuse Prevention Strategies ” to identify the combination of strategies that most completely meets the different substance abuse prevention needs of your community.
